About us

With many years experience processing super contributions for Sunsuper and other funds, we knew there was a more efficient way to manage super than through a super portal.
We also wanted to deliver a solution that offered more features and greater transparency than a traditional clearing house which put the burden of compliance on payrolls – who aren’t necessarily experts in super.

That’s why we created Beam.

Our team are committed to delivering progressive payment and messaging solutions through emerging technologies. We’re passionate about making super simple.

Beam came to light thanks to Sunsuper.

The issuer of Beam is Precision Administration Services Pty Ltd (ABN 47 098 977 667, AFSL No.246 604),, wholly owned by Sunsuper Pty Ltd (ABN 88 010 720 840, AFSL No. 228 975) as Trustee for the Sunsuper Superannuation Fund (ABN 98 503 137 921).

Sunsuper is one of Australia‘s largest and fastest growing super funds with more than one million members and as at July 2018, $56 billion in funds under management. The fund also partners with more than 130,000 businesses across the country to help them manage their super obligations. Sunsuper became the first fund to ever be awarded Money magazine’s Best Super Fund Manager 2018 and Conexus Financial, Chant West, Super Review and SuperRatings Super Fund of the Year awards in a single year for being the best of the best when it comes to super.

As a profit-for-members fund Sunsuper’s customers sit at the heart of everything they do. They have no shareholders to pay and profits are returned to members through low administration fees, product innovation and enhanced products and services.

Beam is an example of this commitment to continuous improvement. Through Beam, Sunsuper seeks to give its employers a better choice.
