Get to know each other
The next step is all about Beam developing an understanding of your business and your future aspirations. This is the time we can discuss what success looks like for you, as well as ensure there’s a level of basic technical compatibility before we proceed to development.

This stage is where we’ll start to look at some of the finer details. You’ll be able to register to the Beam Dev Portal which will give you access to our API documentation and sandbox environment. Here’s where you can start to review system details and API endpoints to see what’s required to integrate Beam into your software.
Build a delivery plan
This stage is where we’ll develop the roadmap for your integration. We’ll start by getting you to sign the Beam Access and User Agreement. From there, we’ll work together to build a project plan, set timelines and allocate resources, ensuring we’ve covered all the steps in building a successful integration.
Implementation and testing
As you begin implementation, we’ll connect you with our Technical Team. They’re your go-to for support throughout the process, from answering questions, to providing supporting documents and information, to completing test cases with you to ensure the implementation runs smoothly. Here we can go as fast or slow as you need.
Preparing for launch
As we prepare for the launch of our partnership, we’ll provide training that ensures you have all the information required. In the first training stage we’ll cover the dos and don’ts of how to communicate about Beam to your customers based on whether you have an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) or not. We’ll then move onto the second training stage, where we’ll provide detailed training on how to use our support systems, including raising support requests, as well as sales training if required.
Introducing our partnership
Now it’s time to introduce your customers to Beam and the new capabilities of your platform. To mark this milestone and leverage the momentum of the launch, our Beam Marketing Team will work with you on impactful launch activities. With a variety of collateral including social media communications and webinars to choose from, these activities will inform and educate your customers about our new partnership and encourage registration from the outset.
