The payday super legislation has been introduced to parliament.
While it’s not yet law, it’s one step closer to overhauling how employers in Australia will pay their employee’s super. We’ll share more information as the legislation progresses through parliament.
As part of the payday super legislation proposal, 1 July 2026 will also be the day the ATO’s Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) closes down.
In the lead up to this change, no new employers have been able to register for the SBSCH since 1 October 2025, with only existing users now able to make payments through the service.
We’re here to help small businesses through this change and make super payments simple – connected directly to payroll and ready for payday super.
